Pertukaran Merdeka

Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka offers students the opportunity to engage in academic learning at various universities across Indonesia, as part of an initiative to strengthen and expand their competencies. Through this program, students are expected to broaden their national outlook, foster patriotism, and gain a deep understanding of diversity and tolerance. Students will gain comprehensive knowledge about Indonesia’s rich cultural diversity, traditions, ethnic groups, languages, and various other resources and potentials the country holds. 

Requirements

You are a perfect candidate for this program if you:

  • are an active student registered under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), listed in the Higher Education Data Base (Pangkalan Data Pendidikan Tinggi – PDDikti), and currently enrolled in semesters two to six during the registration period.
  • have not participated in the previous batch of Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka. 
  • are not actively enrolled in other MBKM programs during the same period.
  • have no history of academic or non-academic sanctions.
  • possess a letter of approval from the home university.
  • have parental/guardian consent to participate in the program.
  • have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 at the time of registration.
  • possess a valid Identity Card (KTP).
  • have or be willing to open an active bank account with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) or Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) with your own name. 
  • preferably have active health insurance, such as BPJS Kesehatan or Kartu Indonesia Sehat (KIS).
  • have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • are willing to comply with all regulations of the program and accept the consequences for any violations of these regulations.
