Farewell, Sam!

On last Friday, 19th of January 2024, English Department bid goodbye to one of our Shansi Fellows, Samantha Perez. Through her 2,5 years of fellowship, Sam has motivated English Department students to perfect their language skills. Although it is difficult for us to say farewell to Sam, we wish her the best in her future journey. Goodluck, Sam!

Learning Lithuanian and Embracing New Culture: A Winter Course Experience at Vytautas Magnus University

Ayfa Hurin Ien, a student from English Studies Program, is currently participating in a Lithuanian Language and Culture Winter Course. This is a month-long program designed for international students to learn Lithuanian at various level while also exploring Lithuania’s cultural and historical aspects.

English Department Student at ASEAN Youth Conference (AYC) 2024

From November 20–22, 2024, Florinesya Zahwa Raihania, a student from the English Department, participated in the prestigious ASEAN Youth Conference (AYC). Since its inception in 2018, the AYC has served as a flagship program of the ASEAN Youth Organization (AYO), empowering youth voices in regional dialogues.
